About the Barber Coin Collectors' Society

The Barber Coin Collectors' Society (BCCS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to furthering the knowledge of coins designed by Charles E. Barber, Chief Engraver of the Mint from 1880 to 1917.

The BCCS holds its Annual Meeting each year at the summer ANA Worlds Fair of Money in August. We also hold regional meetings at the winter FUN show in Florida, Baltimore, Long Beach, and numerous other shows around the country. Our meetings frequently include educational programs, and the BCCS also has tables on the bourse floor at many shows nationally. The list of upcoming shows, meetings, and educational programs can be found on our home page.

The BCCS was founded in 1989, and has hundreds of members from all over the United States. Social interactions at a host of regional meeting venues throughout the United States are a key element of the "BCCS Experience" as shown below. Membership is $20 per year. More information can be found at our Membership page. A Brochure and Application can also be found there.

The Journal of the Barber Coin Collectors' Sociey is the official club publication. More information on the Jounal can be found here.
